As we gather to honor his memory\, we reflect on the remarkable life he lived and the love he shared with us all. \nThe benefit will take place on August 4th from 1pm-6pm at the Duryea VFW. This event is an opportunity for family and friends to come together\, share stories\, and find comfort in each other’s company.\n*Live music\n*Chicken BBQ ($15 pre-sale available)\n*Basket raffles\n*50/50 raffle\nPre-sale tickets for the chicken BBQ are available. $15 per ticket. DESCRIPTION:It’s that time of year again this year we have a very good cause for the ride and we are looking for donations of gift baskets. Any kind of bottles of liquor for a basket of cheer\, and any donations you may want to give to this cause you can call the American Legion in Duryea or message me. It’s going to be a great ride this year with our first stop being Pappys and they are very excited to see us coming. Then we move on it to the Dutchman where they have an outside deck. Very good food and good time for all and the third stop is going to be the renegade bar and grill And the owner is also a veteran and he’s going to be putting out hotdogs and those type of things if anyone wants to just have a nibble and then onto the Y Not pub\, a lot of outdoor activities such as volleyball and badminton as well as an outdoor deck and from there we will we head back to the Duryea VFW we’re there will be hamburgers and hotdogs\, fries\, good ice\, cold beer\, and a great band called dirty hand to finish off the night. there will be 50-50 raffle as well as basket raffles and one Lucky rider will leave with a cash price. It should be a great night for a great cause.
